The Mamma In Pajama's

The Mamma In Pajama's

I am the mommy of two beautiful children! They are absolutely my heart, my soul, and my life. I always wanted to be a mom, i just never understood that I was DESTINED to be a mom! I never had something that I wanted to "BE" when I grew up, now I truly understand why. I was MADE to be a stay at home mom. It is something I absolutely love and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

Meet My First Born.

BuBa was our surprise blessing baby! We weren't planning on having kids quite yet, but we couldn't be happier that he graced us with his presence.

I had kind of a rough pregnancy with him, I had many complications including Gestational Diabetes that we couldn't get under control. Six weeks before my due date I started having contractions through the night, we went into the doctor to be sure, but thought they were bound to be Braxton Hicks Contractions. Surly though, our baby boy was on his way! We spent two days in the hospital trying to stop my labor, and getting steroid shots to help develop his lungs. He was determined to come meet us right then, we weren't able to keep him in there, and a short while later we had our sweet boy.

They laid him on my chest for about 30 seconds before they raced him to the NICU, where he spent the next two weeks of his life. I went back and forth to and from the hospital those two weeks. Every 3 hours for every feeding during the day, I would return home and pump and be back at the hospital for his next feeding. (Except the night time feedings, it was too hard to get back and forth throughout the night.) The day we were able to bring him home was one of the most magical days of our lives!
Now nearly 3 years old he is such a spunky kid! He has so much personality wrapped up into such a little package! He is kind and has a very tender soul, he is pretty easy going unless he is dealing with Mom! haha! He is really coordinated for his age and he thinks anything active is great fun, I'm sure he is going to love sports! He loves music and dancing and doing crafts! His favorite thing to do is make people laugh! He is incredibly smart! At only 2 1/2 he had taught himself all of his colors, numbers 1-10, and his letters! He loves to learn and soak up any information he can! He absolutely loves his sister and thinks she is something to be shown off to the world!  He is such an incredible kid!

Meet My Second Born.

Sissy was our planned blessing baby! We loved being parents so much and I always loved how close me and my sister were that I knew I wanted my kids to be close in age. So when her brother was about 1 1/2 we planned for another!

My pregnancy went much smoother the second time. I got a really good Doctor who specialized in high risk pregnancy, and I received Progesterone shots once a week to prevent another early baby! Things went so smoothly that we were able to plan an induction date at 39 weeks! We packed our bags, sent BuBa to stay with an Aunt and Uncle and headed to the hospital at 6:30 Am. After filling out all our paper work and getting me admitted they came in and told me there was no need to induce me because I was already in labor. Our Baby Girl was here with us by noon that same day!

They showed me my baby and laid her on my chest and I smiled at her in complete shock! She came out with a full head of DARK hair! Our little boy was a little Blondie and so were my husband and I as children. We expected to have another little blonde babe, but instead were blessed with our little dark haired beauty! She was visited by many loved ones including her new big brother! He immediately thought she was so cool, it was love at first sight!
Now our baby girl is already 8 months old! She has so much personality for such a little girl! She is such a ham and loves to laugh! She thinks her big brother is the funniest guy around! She is so sweet and cuddly and has recently picked up a liking to her baby dolls! She is a bright & wide eyed beauty and we can tell she is soaking up everything she can! We have another little smarty pants on our hands, she already has started talking! Her first word was "Mama" Yay! She also says "Dada" and "Lala" (Which is her singing) and she is so close to saying "BuBa." She loves music and likes to sing! She is our little chunky girl and loves to eat! She is super indipendant and wants to do everything herself! She is such an adorable little girl!

My Babies are My Life and I cant wait to share all of their fun stories and all of our fun adventures with you all!
