MEET THE PAJAMA MAMMA!

Hi! I am 24 years old and I am "The Pajama Mamma." I chose this name for my blog because I think I have a pretty laid back approach to parenting. Don't get me wrong, I like to follow the rules and I am not the most spontaneous person you will ever meet, but my house has a definite "Lived in" feel, we don't follow much of a schedule, and we like to have a lot of fun!

I grew up in a very close knit family, my parents ran a church and school through my high school years and we basically spent every day together. My parents lives and my life have changed a lot sense then, but the things they taught me through those years stick with me in my everyday life now. I believe in being a good person, treating people right, and doing the right thing. I believe that family is the most important thing in life, above all else. I personally believe in God, but am not religious. I believe in hard work, dedication, and integrity.

I am the youngest of 4 children. My parents had me and my older sister, and when I was 11 they adopted my two older brothers. My siblings have always been my best friends, I've never really kept a lot of close friends beyond these guys. They all have taught me a lot about myself and about life. They have taught me to love like there's no tomorrow, laughter is the greatest medicine, and to never be to proud to take a helping hand when you have fallen.

I graduated high school in 2010, started Cosmetology school in 2011 and graduated in 2013. My plan was to then work as a cosmetologist and put myself through collage, but life had other plans, and I am totally okay with that!

I met my Husband in April 2012, we quickly fell in loved, moved in together and then got engaged in January 2013. We were planning a wedding for April 2014 when we were surprised by the news we would soon be parents. Having already bought my dress we moved our date up and were married December 2013.

I became a stay at home wife and mother during my rough first pregnancy when I stopped working as a Cosmetologist. We were blessed with our baby boy in May of 2014 and then were blessed again with a baby girl in July 2016. Our children are our world and they are truly the best kids! I never had something I wanted to "Be" when I grew up, and now I know why, I was DESTINED to be a mother.

My life is over flowing with love, and I got inspired to share my wonderful life, experiences, and ideas with all of you. I hope you enjoy!
