In Loving Memory On Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day To A Mother Who Can't Be With Us

My Husband is blessed to have 2 mothers. His Step-Mom is a wonderful mother and grandmother and we are so very blessed to have her in our lives.

I never got to meet my husbands Mom as she passed before I met him. I've seen beautiful pictures and heard precious stories of her, and I try my best to remember her and her memory not only for my husband but for our children too.

Mothers day can be tough when you've had a mother that passed. Mothers day is a day to love and appreciate your mom and shower her with all the love that sometimes you may forget to show her. Its a day to let her know how thankful you are for her and all the things she has done for you. You can still do this even if your mother is no longer physically with you. Honor her memory this mothers day, take the time to appreciate her and love her even though you can not hug her.

Here are a few ideas for mothers day gifts for mothers who cant be with us!

1) Memorial Garden Stone
My Husbands Mother does not have a grave site, so one mothers day I got the idea to make a garden stone for our garden. I thought this would be a nice memorial site for him to be able to put flowers by and remember her.

2)Flowers & A Poem
The Next Mothers day I came across this beautiful poem about a mother in heaven. I bought some beautiful roses and attached the poem to them.

3)Memorial Set Up

Money was a little tighter last year and I wasn't able to purchase anything for her. So I took her garden stone and set it up with a framed picture and a single rose so that she would be thought of in our home on mothers day.

This Mothers day I have been working on a special surprise project that sadly wont be ready in time for mothers day, but as soon as I have it completed I will tell you all about it!

I hope all of you have a fabulous mothers day!
